ABOUT

Psychosocial safety and psychological wellbeing play an important role in creating healthy, sustainable and high performing research environments. This practical workshop will provide an introduction and refresher on psychosocial health and safety, including common psychosocial hazards that can arise in research settings and their potential impacts on individuals and teams.

Participants will then work through a case study to explore the psychosocial risk management process in practice. Together, we will identify hazards, assess risks, and discuss practical control measures that can help create safer and healthier workplaces. The session will be interactive and discussion based, providing an opportunity to apply psychosocial risk management concepts to realistic workplace scenarios and learn from the experiences of others.
