ABOUT

This session provides an introduction to National Computational Infrastructure (NCI) Gadi supercomputer, Australia's flagship national research computing facility. Participants will learn about the key components of the Gadi environment, including compute queues, storage options, and how these resources support a wide range of research workloads. The session will also include a brief overview of the National Computational Merit Allocation Scheme (NCMAS), covering eligibility requirements, available application categories, and the assessment process.

Whether you are new to NCI or preparing an NCMAS application, this session will help you better understand the computing and storage resources available to researchers. The session will conclude with a dedicated Q&A, providing an opportunity to ask questions about Gadi, its compute and storage services, and how to make the most of the platform for your research.
