2018 Professional Development Network School Leaders' Conference

This year's theme is 'Framing the Future'.

Change and innovation are continually and rapidly redefining what we know and what it takes to be a successful school leader.

A new frame is needed to consider our flexible and agile role in leading learning; changing school culture; forging and sustaining community coalitions; whilst at the same time maintaining personal well-being and resilience.

This year’s conference provides invaluable professional learning opportunities for emerging and established school leaders who play a role in Framing the Future.

The Professional Development Network (PDN) School Leaders’ conference is for educational leadership teams and individuals across all school systems who have a vision for insightful change, deliverable practice and networking.

The PDN has seen a strong trend for schools to bring their whole leadership teams to the conference. We have designed the program to encourage shared or distributed leadership. Shared professional learning can result in a team of educators who are committed to a culture of learning, respect and teamwork.

The range of keynote presentations and workshops make this a professional learning priority for school teams and individuals from primary, secondary and special education sectors.

The PDN committee look forward to sharing another exciting, thought provoking and energetic conference program.
